As I read through the comments/reviews I find it baffling to see that anyone would rate these burgers under 5-stars. I ordered the green chile cheese burger with all toppings + garlic mayo and a fried egg. I would put it over any fast food burger in the southwest. Anyone who disagrees is either pretentious or so miserable that they will be find satisfaction in the simple pleasures of life. Can't wait to have it again next time I visit Santa Fe!

Great place to come grab a quick bite. Outdoor seating is nice and there isn't many birds waiting around for your leftovers. Food was quick and hot!

Before I made my way to Santa Fe, I did some research on the best green chile burger. Shake Foundation came to the top of the list. While I came to Shake Foundation for the green chile burger, it ended up being my least favorite item. I couldn't taste the chile, not much else, really. I decided to add some ketchup and mustard. The salted caramel shake was really good! When they say thick, they mean THICK! The fries here were also quite good. I would definitely try them out again. There were some other good items on the menu.

We happened to drive by Shake and needed lunch so we tried it out on a whim. I was surprised to see the lower reviews, we had a solid lunch! There is no indoor seating here, there are plenty of tables outside if the weather is nice and they have a cute little set up. It was snowing when we arrived so most were grabbing food to go or eating in their cars. There are two main windows - one to order at and one to pick up your food. You get a buzzer after ordering that lets you know when it's your turn to grab your food. The menu is mostly burgers plus fries and ice cream. We tried a single cheeseburger plain, the fries, and the spicy chicken sandwich. My partner also tried out the ice cream (vanilla with chocolate chips on top). The cheeseburger was very good, as was the chicken sandwich! The fries are shoestring style but more on the limp side. Not my cup of tea but the flavor was fine and they were fresh. The ice cream was excellent. Overall cute spot to grab a bite to eat!
